Residential Support Worker
Job Description 

 

Basic Salary: £18,360, salary increased following successful completion of probation period

Hours: Full time

We are looking for someone who is able to use their own initiative and think outside the box. To build positive relationships with the young people you care for and have the ability to deal with demanding situations if they arise.

Experience is not essential as we offer an excellent induction training package which includes the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Care on completion of your probationary period.

We offer on-going training and ensure our staff are given the opportunity to develop and progress within the company.

Our rota pattern ensures consistency for the young people and the staff team.

  • Two week rolling rota on a shift pattern

  • Work every other weekend

  • Overtime paid at time and a half (hours worked over 40 hrs)

  • Sleep ins are paid additional to salary

  • Bank holidays are paid at an enhanced rate

  • 28 days annual leave

  • Pension scheme

 

Bank Staff

Job Description

Basic Salary: £8.82 hourly rate, salary increased following successful completion of probation period

Hours: Bank 

We are looking for someone with a minimum of one years experience of working within the care sector who is able to use their own initiative and think outside the box. To build positive relationships with the young people you care for and have the ability to deal with demanding situations if they arise.

We offer on-going training and ensure our staff are given the opportunity to develop and progress within the company. 

  • Overtime paid at time and a half (hours worked over 40 hrs)

  • Accrued annual leave

 

Senior Residential Support Worker

Job Description

Basic Salary: £20,400, salary increased following successful completion of probation period

Hours: Full time 

 

We are looking for someone who can support the manager in effectively running the home, ability to build positive and meaningful relationships with the young people you care for, and deal with demanding situations if they arise.

 

We offer an excellent induction training package. 

We provide ongoing training and ensure our staff are given the opportunity to develop and progress with the company.

 

What you will need:

  • 2 years’ experience is essential within a child or adult care role.

  • Level 3 diploma in childcare or equivalent. 

 

Key duties and responsibilities –

  • Supporting the manager in the day to day running of the home

  • Report writing

  • Providing staff supervision

  • On call

  • Able to use your initiative and manage challenging situations

  • Committed to working with young people with emotional, behavioural and developmental needs
